Free Roam Policy
We do understand that you may wish to move to a different stylist and we promise not to be offended if you do. We regard you as a client of our salon. We offer you the option to select the stylist of your choice or change each time you visit.
Upon booking your appointment, please mention whether you require an appointment within our child friendly hours. This is usually in quiet periods, so that yourself as our guest and child(ren), can enjoy a tranquil experience. Please be advised that we ask that you take responsible care of your child(ren) whilst in the salon and remain seated within the lounge.
We require a deposit from every guest to our salon for treatments over £50. This deposit will be used as part payment towards your service and is fully refundable should you cancel within 48 hours for your appointment. However deposits on SPMU treatments and Hair Replacement systems (including Treatments) are not refundable as stipulated upon consultation. If you fail to show up for your appointment unfortunately you will lose your deposit and will be charged in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Our cancellation policy is strictly 48 hours for all guests. If we don’t receive 48 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment unfortunately, your deposit is non-refundable. All returning guests who fail to turn up for an appointment will be charged 50% of the previous service. If you fail to show up after booking your debit/credit card will automatically be charged 50% of the services booked. We completely understand that things can happen at the last minute and can assure you that we will be sympathetic in certain circumstances. Regrettably, we have had to put these measures in place because of the sheer volume of non-arrivals we have had, which in turn costs the salon hundreds of pounds per month.
Skin Testing Policy & Disclaimers
As professionals we have a duty of care to make sure that you are protected in these circumstances! The best way of ensuring that you are allergy free when it comes to hair colouring, eyelash extensions, SPMU, is to come into our salon for a patch test as advised dependant on service. Here you can have a specific skin test done with the range that we use in our salon. This is without a doubt the safest and most efficient way of detecting any allergies that may cause damage to your skin. A negative patch test, do not mean that there will not be a delayed reaction after the treatment, however it is a good indication prior to any treatment.
We STRONGLY ADVISE a skin test before any of our hair services, SPMU or eyelash extension treatments. If you are adamant that you would not like to undergo a skin test, we will ask you to sign a disclaimer as a last resort. This will state that you waive any responsibility for any reactions at QL.
